On 4/2/15, at the Dacula job site, employees were exposed to trip and fall hazards as they installed drywall in an elevator shaft where the pit was covered with boards that were not secured in place. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(12): Unprotected sides and edges of stairway landings were not provided with guardrail systems that meet the criteria contained in Subpart M of 29 CFR 1926. On 4/2/15, at the Gwinnett Fire Academy Dacula job site, employees and subcontracted employees were exposed to fall hazards over seven feet as the stair landing leading to 2nd floor levels were not protected with guardrails. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
