Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.403(e): All splices and joints and free ends of conductors were not covered with insulation equivalent to that of the conductors or with an insulating device designed for the purpose: (a) ESBENSHADE FARMS, NEW EGG PRODUCTION FACILITY CONSTRUCTION AREA - Employees assembling metal support legs used power tools that were plugged into a 110 volt electrical receptacle, and the cable supplying the electricity to the receptacle contained a splice that used wire nuts and electrical tape to complete the splice, thereby exposing the employee(s) to shock hazards, on or about April 8, 2015. No abatement certification or documentation required.
