29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation shall be protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section except when:  On or about April 8, 2015, three employees were exposed to a cave in while working inside an excavation which was 7 feet in depth and without any type of cave in protection.    PLEASE NOTE:  CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
