29 CFR 1926.451(f)(14): Makeshift devices, such as but not limited to boxes and barrels, were used on top of scaffold platforms to increase the working level height of employees: Along the south west section of the construction building, on or about April 17, 2015, an employee exposed to a fall hazard while sitting on the top railing of a JLG scissor lift with the assistance of a wooden board while doing welding work during steel erection operations at an approximately 12 feet above the ground level.
