29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls were acquired by employees:  Employees perform servicing and maintenance activities on equipment including, but not limited to the AirTek Air Drier machine, and the Brake Presses which had energy source such as pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric were exposed to hazards associated with the unexpected energizing or start-up of equipment in that authorized employees were not provided with training in the specific machine energy control procedures.  29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
