29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor were the employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) Subcontractor employees were not protected from the hazard of falling while performing roofing work to an existing multi-family residential building approximately five stories high. The Ornat Roofing Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314604554, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 21, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 7952 N. Octavia, Niles, IL 60714.
