29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) Core Making Department - The core making machine contained a ram on the right side that reduces the walkway to the back of the adjacent machine to 15 inches when the ram was engaged. A method of machine guarding was not provided on or about April 24, 2015. No Abatement Documentation or Certification Required
