29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels are not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) The employer does not ensure that employees are provided and use fall protection when exposed to serious fall hazards during residential wood frame construction activities. This condition was most recently observed at 1117 Laughton, Meridian, ID on April 29, 2015. An employee performed framing activities on a 7 in 12 and 10 in 12 pitched roof without a complete fall protection system in place. Mike & Ike Construction, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.503(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 965589, citation number 1, item number 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on April 22, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at Henry's Fork sub-division, Eagle, ID 83616. Note) Certification and documentation of corrective action ARE required for this item.
