29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Strain relief. Flexible cords shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. a) On or about May 6, 2015 the strain release was broken on the electrical plug on the Target Porta-Saw exposing live wiring. b) On or about May 6, 2015 the UST 3500 watt generator/AC-out electrical cord that was plugged into the generator strain release was broken exposing live wiring.
