29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.9(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent: At the sanding department of the sign and letter fabrication shop located at 16631 Scheer Blvd Hudson, FL, as observed on or about 7/17/2015. a) An employee was exposed to continuous noise levels at 120.2% of the allowable 8 hour TWA-Action Limit (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA level of this dose % is 91.3 dBA. The sampling was performed for 404 minutes during one shift on July 17, 2015. b) An employee was exposed to continuous noise levels at 90.9% of the allowable 8 hour TWA-Action Limit (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA level of this dose % is 89.3 dBA. The sampling was performed for 427 minutes during one shift on July 17, 2015. c) An employee was exposed to continuous noise levels at 75.8% of the allowable 8 hour TWA-Action Limit (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA level of this dose % is 88 dBA. The sampling was performed for 421 minutes during one shift on July 17, 2015.
