29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms or service rooms were not kept clean and orderly or in a sanitary condition. In the loading dock area, employees were exposed to respiratory and health hazards such as histoplasmosis from the accumulation of bird feces in multiple areas of the loading dock. United Parcel Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1018037, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 28, 2015 with a final abatement date of May 20, 2015 with respect to a workplace located at 43 3rd Ave, Somerville, MA 02143.
