29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At this worksite, an employee conducted demolition of a roof at heights greater than six feet without any form of fall protection such as but not limited to a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. Camacho Demolition was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 951848, citation number 1, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on 4/29/14, with respect to a workplace located at 401 N. Chaparral St., Corpus Christi, TX 78401.
