29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work on, had the strength and structure integrity to support employees safely: a) Worksite, AMC Theatre, Garden City NY - Employees were walking and working on flat commercial roof approximately 40ft above the ground. The structural stability of the roof and the insulation materials had been compromised due to water damage; on or about 6/19/15. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
