Employees were exposed to falls greater than 12 feet from the shed roof, and greater than 16 feet from the garage roof, while re-roofing the shed and house, where the ladders were not 3 feet above the landing. a) The first ladder was resting on the side of the shed, approximately 1 foot over the roof edge. b) The second ladder was resting at the peak of the garage roof, approximately 1 foot over the roof edge.
