The endpoints at each upright were more than 48 inches (1.3 m) apart:  At this worksite, employees applied stucco to the exterior of a building from a scaffold platform which was over ten feet above ground, where the crossbracing was used in place of a midrail and the crossing point was not between twenty and thirty inches above the platform.
