Main Auto Shop, Bay Five: On or about 22 June 2015 and times prior thereto, the emergency eyewash station was blocked. This condition exposed employees to an eye trauma hazard.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(4): Safeguard(s) designed to protect employees during an emergency (e.g., sprinkler systems, alarm systems, fire doors, exit lighting), were not in proper working order at all times. (a) Main Camp Auto Shop, Hallway: On or about 22 June 2015 and times prior thereto, the emergency exit light on located in the hallway was inoperative. This exposed employees to delays in exiting the building causing smoke inhalation and fire hazards. (b) Main Camp Auto Shop, Outside Men's Room: On or about 22 June 2015 and times prior thereto, the emergency exit light was inoperative. This exposed employees to delays in exiting the building causing smoke inhalation and fire hazards. (c) Main Camp Auto Shop, Men's Room: On or about 22 June 2015 and times prior thereto, the emergency exit light was inoperative. This exposed employees to delays in exiting the building causing smoke inhalation and fire hazards. (d) Main Camp Auto Shop, Upstairs Storage Area: On or about 22 June 2015 and times prior thereto, two (2) emergency exit lights were inoperative. This exposed employees to delays in exiting the building causing smoke inhalation and fire hazards. (e) Main Camp Auto Shop, Air Handler Room: On or about 22 June 2015 and times prior thereto, the emergency exit light was inoperative. This exposed employees to delays in exiting the building causing smoke inhalation and fire hazards. (f) Main Camp Auto Shop, 2nd Floor Auto Parts Storage Room: On or about 22 June 2015 and times prior thereto, the emergency exit light was inoperative. This exposed employees to delays in exiting the building causing smoke inhalation and fire hazards. The National Park Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 559139, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 01 October 2012, with respect to a workplace located at the Eielson Visitor's Center.

Main Auto Shop: On or about 22 June 2015 and times prior thereto, No MSDS were available on GUMOUT Carb & Choke Cleaner. This condition exposed employees to contact with toxic, caustic or noxious substances. The National Park Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 559342, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 01 October 2012, with respect to a workplace located at Main Camp Building & Utilities.
