29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i. FAA AFSS, Storage Room: On or about 25 June 2015 and times prior thereto, the air nozzle connected to the air compressor did not have a 30 P.S.I reducing device. Shop air was set at approximately 50 P.S.I. This exposed employees to air embolism/laceration hazards if they contacted the discharge to their skin.
