29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: Shop, Sears/Craftsman table saw: employees were ripping MDF boards on the equipment with a missing point-of-operation guard. Employees were exposed to having their finger(s) and hand(s) amputated where the point of operation guards and/or safeguarding devices were not provided. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
