The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Safety Agency, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard on July 10, 2014, Inspection # 979520, which was affirmed as a final order on August 5, 2014, and the hazard was abated.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A) as required by 29 CFR 1960.8(b): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: (a) Break room; Elkay wall-mounted water cooler was permanently powered through a three to four feet long black extension cord with orange ends. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard on April 8, 2014, Inspection # 962797, which was affirmed as a final order on May 1, 2014, and the hazard was abated.
