29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(1)(i): Each employer having an employee(s) with occupational exposure as defined by paragraph (b) of this section shall establish a written Exposure Control Plan designed to eliminate or minimize employee exposure. On or about July 14, 2015, the employer's written bloodborne pathogen exposure control plan did not include: 1) An Exposure Determination that includes all job classifications of employees. 2 All procedures in which employees have occupational exposure. 3) A written schedule for cleaning, and the methods and materials for decontaminating surfaces and equipment within the facility. 4) Documented proof of input from non-managerial employees who are potentially exposed to injuries from contaminated sharps in the identification, evaluation, and selection of effective engineering and work practice controls. 5) Training of temporary service personnel, such as but not limited to Phlebotomists, on the site specific requirements of the host employers Exposure Control Plan.
