29 CFR 1910.134(a)(2): The employer did not provide appropriate respirators when necessary to protect employee health: a) Family Urgent Care, LLC located at 879 North Bridge Street, Chillicothe, OH 45601: On or about August 19, 2020, employees engaging in nasopharyngeal specimen collection for COVID-19 were provided only with a surgical mask for protection against aerosolized SARS-CoV-2 virus. At a minimum, a N95 NIOSH-certified filtering facepiece respirator is necessary to protect employees from aerosolized SARS-CoV-2 virus.
