29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about July 14, 2015, the employer failed to ensure an employee performing framing work was protected from a fall of approximately 14 feet by utilizing the personal fall arrest system properly. The Castle Construction Co. Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 994873, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on November 14, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at NW corner of State and West Bath Road, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
