29 CFR 1926.502(b)(1): Top edge height of top rails, or equivalent guardrail system members, were not 42 inches (1.1 m) plus or minus 3 inches (8 cm) above the walking/working level: a) Job site, 2500 Smallman Street, Pittsburgh, PA: On or about July 15, 2015, during construction activities, the employer did not ensure that the top rail of the guardrail systems around stairway openings in the floor were of an appropriate height in that some were measured at 36 inches tall and some were measured at 38 inches tall, exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 15 feet to the ground below.
