29 CFR 1910.36(g)(1): The ceiling of an exit route must be at least seven feet six inches (2.3 m) high. Any projection from the ceiling must not reach a point less than six feet eight inches (2.0 m) from the floor. a) Outback Steakhouse #3922, Bar - on or about July 17, 2015, employees working behind the bar access the dining area via an opening in the wooden bar top, approximately 42 inches in height and 28 inches in width, which requires each employee to crouch and step under the solid surface to access and egress the bar serving area.
