29 CFR 1910.26(c)(2)(iv): Ladders must be maintained in good usable condition at all times. a) Cosmetic Stockroom: An A-Frame ladder had a bent left leg, broken top locking mechanism and two dented lower rungs, on or about 7/22/15. b) Petites Stockroom: A rolling ladder had missing rubber end caps and a damaged right wheel, on or about 7/22/15. c) Kids Stockroom: A rolling ladder had damaged wheels preventing the ladder from moving properly, on or about 7/22/15. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
