This violation was observed on or about July 16, 2015, the employer did not display caution signs for the hot surfaces for such as, but not limited to, the step railings and the railings around the work platforms at #3 pinch roll catwalk and the #2 pinch roll catwalk on Line 4 exposing employees to the hazards of hot surfaces.

The employer did not ensure machine guarding was in place to protect employees from ingoing nip points and moving parts for the following machines:         a)       This violation was observed on or about July 16, 2015, the #4 pinch roller in the inspection area of the Strip Line on Line #4 was not guarded exposing employees to being caught in the ingoing nip points.         b)      This violation was observed on or about July 16, 2015, the #4 pinch roller in the inspection area of the Strip Line on Line #5 was not guarded exposing employees to being caught in the ingoing nip points.         c)      This violation was observed on or about July 16, 2015, the Screen print line film applicator was not guarded exposing employees to being caught in the ingoing nip points.          d)     This violation was observed on or about July 16, 2015, along Lines #4 and Lines #5 plastic yellow chains are used in lieu of machine guarding to prevent employees from the machine areas hazards such as, but not limited to moving product, hot contact surfaces, ingoing nip points exposing employees to the hazards of caught-in, struck by.
