29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems or a combination of warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) At the Chatham Plaza jobsite in Savannah, GA: On or about July 29, 2015, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 19 feet on a flat roof while working beside unprotected parapet walls, in that fall-protection was not used while engaged in roofing activities not limited to installing flashing material. Wormley Brothers Enterprises, Inc. was previously cited for an equivalent violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA Inspection No. 955585, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed a final order on 6-9-2014, with respect to a workplace located at 7700 Abercorn St., Savannah, GA.
