OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees working in the production area of the facility when exposed excessive heat: On or about 5 August 2015, employees working in the production area of the facility were exposed to excessive heat conditions when conducting tasks such as recycling composite material with a grinder and operating the extruder, robots and the router vac.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. On or about 28 July 2015, the emergency eyewash station in the production area was located more than 10 feet away from the Betco cream cleanser used to clean the rollers. The cleanser was corrosive in nature and exposed employees to the hazard of visual impairment.
