Frequent and regular inspections were not conducted by a competent person that resulted in two employees exposing to fall of 21 feet. There were a total of 5 employees working on the roof, 3 employees had the fall protections, while the other 2 did not. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Employee(s) engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels were not protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) On or about 8/6/15, at the roof area of the site, Cheektowaga, NY. Employees, nailing down metal flashings on the roof, were not protected by the above-mentioned fall protection systems. Two employees had the harness on and were not tied off. Employees were exposed to fall of 21 feet. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
