29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels and 50-feet (15.25 m) wide or less, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety nets: (a) At 606-A Boll Weevil Circle, Enterprise, AL: On August 10, 2015 and at times prior to; the employer exposed his employees to falls of approximately 13.8 feet while applying steel roofing material on a multidimensional roof on a new construction commercial structure, in that the employees were wearing conventional fall protection were not tied off or prevented from falling by guardrail systems or nets.
