29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: a) At 200 East Beach Blvd., Gulf Shores, Alabama: On or about January 24, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employee to work next to the edge on a flat roof without fall protection exposing the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 50 feet to the ground below. THE ROOF DOCTOR OF ALABAMA, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(10) AND 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1083677, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, GROUP A AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON SEPTEMBER 26, 2015, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 606-A BOLL WEEVIL CIRCLE, ENTERPRISE, ALABAMA AND IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 897909, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MAY 21, 2013, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 2041 W BEACH BLVD, GULF SHORES, ALABAMA.
