29 CFR 1910.157(d)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not selected based on the classes of anticipated workplace fires and on the size and degree of hazard that would affect their use:    a)  Fluid Draining Area - On or about August 10, 2015, employees were performing automobile disassembly work using a reciprocating saw which ignited nearby combustible and flammable materials such as, but not limited to, gasoline vapor, but the available fire extinguishers were not of a sufficient volume for the employees to control the incipient stage fire.  Abatement Note:  Among other feasible means of abatement, employers shall follow the guidance found in NFPA 10 - 2013, Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers, Chapter 5, Selection of Portable Fire Extinguishers, Section 5-2 through 5-6, to ensure the proper classification and size of fire extinguishers are provided to counter the anticipated fire hazard.
