29 CFR 1917.26(d)(2): Stretchers were not kept in close vicinity of the vessel and/or positioned so as to avoid damage to the stretcher. (a) On or about August 13, 2015, on the dock, the employer failed to keep the stretcher/stokes basket in close vicinity to the vessel. It was kept in a locked room above the storage building, which delayed prompt rescue of employees. Employees were exposed to falls.
