29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, warning line system, or a safety monitoring system. a) Jobsite - Employee painting the roof was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 30 feet. The employee was not protected from the hazards by use of a fall protection system, or by use of a monitoring system, on or about June 12, 2015. Soriano Roofing and General Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1028168, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 3/26/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1602 Latona Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146.
