29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(c). a.) FAMCO, Inc., Route 60 West Smithers and London: On or about 08/21/15, an employee working in a trench excavation approximately 7' in depth was not protected from cave-in. FAMC, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313376220, Citation 01, Item Number 001a and was affirmed final order on 09/22/10, with respect to a workplace located at Route 10, Itmann, WV 24847. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED.
