29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not required to wear appropriate goggles, to protect them from the rays when noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields were not used: (a) Welding Area: Employees conduct welding activities while fabricating material. The employees working adjacent to the welder were not protected from the welding rays by screens, shields or tinted welding glasses, as observed on or about 08/25/2015. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED The Danser, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.252(b)(2)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 983320, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on October 27, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 1758 Murphytown Rd. Davisville, WV 26142.
