29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above the lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.502(k) developed and implemented: a. 41 Leick Ave., Carteret, NJ Employees engaged in residential roofing activities were observed working at the edge of a 18/12 pitch roof, removing roofing materials without the use of fall protection. Violation observed on or about September 9, 2015. RCS Contractor LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 991641, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 24, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 7 Shadow Lawn Rd., Somerset, NJ 08873 RCS Contractor LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 945393, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 7, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at Bldg. 8 Veterans Memorial Drive, Raritan, NJ 08869.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a) 41 Leick Ave., Carteret, NJ Employees engaged in residential roofing activities used a 24-foot aluminum ladder to access the roof that was not extended at least 3-feet from the landing surface. Violation observed on or about September 9, 2015.
