29 CFR 1910.219(c)(2)(i): All exposed part(s) of horizontal shafting seven (7) feet or less from floor or working platform were not protected by stationary casing(s) enclosing shafting completely or by trough(s) enclosing sides and top or sides and bottom of shafting:  (a) Bar Line Jones 1 "Cartener" - The employer did not ensure that power transmission shafting below the machine was guarded by a trough enclosing the sides and top. The side panel was not installed and an employee suffered scalping injuries when her hair became entangled with the 1 1/4 inch shaft when she reached under the machine to perform a routine housekeeping task on or about June 22, 2015.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
