29 CFR 1910.151(b): In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available. On or about July 27, 2015, employer failed to ensure that Waste Management employees had been adequately trained to render first aid or that adequate first aid supplies were readily available to employer's and Waste Management's employees when employer's was exposed to excessive heat conditions while performing garbage collection tasks, not limited to, placing collected garbage into a garbage collection truck in an outdoor environment.
