29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards associated with re-roofing an existing residential home. The most recent occurrence of this took place at the new home being built at 5390 S. 90th Street, Lincoln, NE where the employer had five employees re-roofing a residential home where the ground to eave is greater than 6 feet without the use of any form of fall protection.
