29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     a- 1200 Gianna Drive, Glassboro NJ: A company employee was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 29 feet to the ground surface below, when working from a residential roof with a pitch of approximately 7 on 12 without the use of any fall protection.  Condition observed on or about 09/12/15.    NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii)    a- 1200 Gianna Drive, Glassboro NJ: A company employee was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 29 feet to the ground surface below, when working from a residential roof with a pitch of approximately 7 on 12 without the use of any fall protection.  This employee had not received fall protection training from a competent person at the company at the time of the worksite inspection.     NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
