29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: On or about October 1, 2015, and in times prior thereto, protruding reinforcing steel was projecting straight up out of concrete slabs and did not have protective caps. The reinforcing steel was located at the apartment building construction site and created an impalement hazard to workers.
