29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. On or about October 9, 2015, on the North side of the building, employees installing metal studs and trimming were exposed to a fall hazard exceeding 15 feet without a fall protection system. PANELIZERS, LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 315302521, CITATION NUMBER 01 ITEM NUMBER 001 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON AUGUST 10, 2011, WITH A FINAL ABATEMENT DATE OF NOVEMBER 8, 2011, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 100 RIVERWIND DR., PEARL, MS 39208.
