29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems or a combination of warning line system and safety monitoring system: At the jobsite located at 6300 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, KS; employees were exposed to fall hazards of up to 23 feet from the eave to the ground in that fall protection was not used in the following instances: a) Employee engaged in inspecting the roofing work while the work was on-going on Area A Building. b) Employees of sub-contractor Israel Soto Roofing performing roofing work on Area A Building and Area E Building.
