29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(vi): Material appropriate in content or vocabulary to educational level, literacy, or language of employees was not used in the bloodborne pathogen training program   Establishment-wide:      On or about 11/19/15, training in bloodborne pathogens was only provided through a YouTube video in English.  The housekeeping staff is primarily made up of employees who speak Spanish with limited understanding of English.  In addition, a qualified person did not give the training, nor was one available for questions.  During the follow-up inspection, two housekeeping employees were determined to have been on extended leave when the training was provided to the staff.  These employees were not provided the training upon return to work, prior to being exposed to the hazard posed by contaminated sharps.  The MFIN 2013 was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(vi), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1043694, citation number 1 , item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on 7/23/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 118 Woodbury Road in Washington, CT.
