29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. A. Hector Vasquez worksite located at 601 St. Rt. 224, Glandorf, Ohio: On or about November 4, 2015, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while removing roofing material on the low sloped commercial structure. Employees were wearing harnesses but were not tied to the structure. Each employee engaged in this activity was exposed to a potential fall distance of approximately 10.00 feet.
