29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. On 10/21/2015, workers from Woodruff Roofing and Exteriors LLC were installing roofing felt on a roof of a residential building located on Deerfield Court in Wentzville, MO. They were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. The foreman and two employees were observed on the roof of the building without fall protection, exposing them to a fall to the ground below. Woodruff Roofing and Exteriors LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1923.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1067907, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/16/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 425 Transit Street, St. Charles, MO.
