29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. On 7/20/2017, employees from Woodruff Roofing and Exteriors LLC were working on the roof of a residential building located at Lot 106 Crystal Creek Parkway, Wentzville, MO. An employee was engaged in roofing work approximately 11 feet above a lower level. The exposed employee was not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. The employee was observed on the roof of the building without fall protection, exposing themselves to a fall to the ground below. Woodruff Roofing and Exteriors LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 943089, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/28/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 3910 Juniata Street, St. Louis, MO. Woodruff Roofing and Exteriors LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1104690, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 2/11/2016, with respect to a workplace located at Deerfield Court, Wentzville, MO.
