Employees  used  extension ladders  to access the "piks" on the scaffolding. The employees  were exposed to a fall of approx.  20 ft. to the ground because the siderails of an extension ladder used to access the west  side of the scaffolding  only extended approx. 18  inches above the edge of the  pik.  and the siderails of an extension ladder used to access the east side of the scaffold  only extended  approx.  30 inches above the edge of the  pik".  NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
