29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): For all scaffolds not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, each employee shall be protected by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section. Worksite: The employee working from the scaffold inside the containment area located on the underside of the Pell/Newport Bridge was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems or personal fall arrest systems. On or about 11/16/2015 an exposed employee fell approximately 20 feet and sustained injuries.
